Two young kids. A full-time job. Not wanting to sacrifice quality family time but still needing to achieve a training schedule that doesn't quit - 6 to 7 days a week, no matter what.
That's the reality Brightstrides was born from. When life is that full, the only time to run is before the house wakes up or after everyone's gone to bed. Early mornings in the dark. Late nights under streetlights. It's not glamorous or safe - but it's the commitment and reality the everyday athlete has to make every single day.
The problem? Finding gear that kept me safe on poorly lit streets and rural roads in those low-light hours without the added unpractical layers of LED Lights or hi-vis vests looking like a construction worker. Reflective options were either bulky, unflattering, or just plain uninspiring. I wanted something that matched the effort I was putting in - sleek, bold, and built to be seen.
So we created it.
