How does the reflective technology work?
Our garments use retroreflective materials that bounce light directly back to its source — meaning car headlights, bike lights, and torches illuminate you brightly at night. The reflective elements are heat pressed onto the fabric so they work without any batteries or activation.

Will the reflective properties wash out over time?
No — our reflective technology is built to last when cared for correctly (see our washing guide below).
Are your products suitable for all weather conditions?

Sizing & Fit
How do I find my size?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide. We recommend measuring your body width and length and comparing against the size chart before ordering.
Do your products run true to size?
Yes, our sizing is consistent and true to size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit during longer runs.
What's the difference between your men's and women's fits?
Our women's styles are cut with a more contoured fit through the waist and hips, while men's styles have a straighter cut. Both are designed for performance and freedom of movement.
Orders & Shipping
How long will my order take to process?
We are a small family run business, hand making each product, we aim to have your order processed, made, and with NZ Post within 3-5 days of receiving your order.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand?
Standard NZ delivery typically takes 2–5 business days. Tracking provided with all orders.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Unfortunately shipping is only available to addresses within New Zealand.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. You can use these to follow your order's progress online.
Returns & Care
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items in original condition within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us at brightstridesnz@gmail.com to initiate a return.
How should I wash my reflective gear to maintain performance?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and tumble drying — these can degrade the reflective materials. Hang to dry in the shade.
